Pastor Abraham Funso Adeniji – Senior Pastor, RCCG Winners’ Chapel Detroit
Pastor Abraham Funso Adeniji is a man of great humility and unwavering dedication to God’s calling. Born and raised in Ghana, West Africa, he spent his formative years living in diverse cultures across Africa, Europe, and America. This global exposure enriched his remarkable people skills and pastoral sensitivity.
Educated with a Higher National Diploma (HND) in Mechanical Engineering and a Master’s Degree in Transport Studies, Pastor Adeniji held significant leadership roles in the corporate sector. He worked as a Quality Management Superintendent at Peugeot Automobile Nigeria Limited, a Workshop Manager at UTC Motors, and a Safety and Environmental Superintendent at ELF Petroleum (now Total Oil).
Answering God’s call in August 2001, he left a promising career to pursue full-time ministry. Pastor Adeniji served as a part-time pastor in Nigeria before pioneering two RCCG churches in Montreal, Canada. He also ministered as Pastor-In-Charge and Area Pastor of RCCG Overcomers Chapel in Ottawa, Canada. Since September 1, 2002, he has faithfully shepherded RCCG Winners’ Chapel Detroit as the Senior Pastor.
Under his leadership, the ministry has witnessed powerful breakthroughs, healing, and deliverance, impacting lives across Detroit and beyond. Pastor Abraham is known for his boundless and unconditional love for his congregation, patience with human nature, and his passion for helping believers fulfill their God-given destiny.
He is happily married to Pastor Susan Adeniji, and together they are blessed with three wonderful children: Oba, Ade, and Eri.
Pastor Susan Olabisi Adeniji – Pastor, RCCG Winners’ Chapel Detroit
Pastor Susan Olabisi Adeniji serves with dedication alongside her husband, Pastor Abraham Adeniji, providing spiritual support and leadership within the RCCG Winners’ Chapel Detroit community. Known for her compassionate heart and deep faith, Pastor Susan plays an integral role in nurturing the spiritual growth of families and women in the church.
Her ministry focuses on empowering women and families to live out their divine purposes, fostering healing, deliverance, and spiritual breakthrough. Pastor Susan’s servant leadership and commitment to holistic discipleship underpin the warm, supportive environment of the church.
Together with her husband, she exemplifies strong Christian partnership and family values. Pastor Susan is a loving mother to their three children: Oba, Ade, and Eri, and is deeply involved in mentoring, counseling, and community outreach.
Her presence and ministry bring grace, encouragement, and empowerment to the congregation as they collectively advance God’s kingdom in Detroit.
